There was something haunting about The Eagles. Their music is just difficult not to stop and listen to when you find yourself encountering it – even Hotel California, which everyone has heard at least a thousand times. And then of course, in the ’80s Don Henley and Glenn Frey both went through that kind of “adventure song” period, singing about seedy, exotic things. It was great. It just shows how they were good enough to roll with the times. If you’ve got a place in your abode for rock music memorabilia, those guys definitely deserve a place of honor.
