Successful actors are like enjoyable authors. You always know you’ll like what they do. It’s like reading all the books written by one author, you go to see all the movies one actor makes. We think of Tom Hanks for Big, Philadelphia, Castaway etc. You think of Travolta Saturday Night Fever comes to mind. Why not have these guys hanging in your rec room? It’s really fun to put up some movie memorabilia and throw out a favorite quote or trivia question when company comes over.
I’ve become a real movie buff of great movies from the seventies turned into art. My current favorite example of this has to be the Saturday Night Fever movie poster. The concept of a disco dancing kid from New Jersey is fascinating enough but set to music it is even more compelling. Look for some great photos and movie memorabilia that really portray the story at its unique best. They were over-the-top in makeup, wardrobe, and set designs. No wonder they received so many awards.
